Brittany

Brittany has been a favourite holiday destination for many years. Famous for seafood and beaches the area is now equipped with a superb range of golf courses. On the north coast the venerable links at Dinard use a wonderful piece of natural contours in a way that takes 100 years to get so right. The newer course at Pleneuf val Andre has a wonderful setting high above the sea with some of the most exhilarating elevated tees I've ever seen. The parkland courses in the area are also excellent - Des Ormes and Le Tronchet towards the north coast, Freslonniere, Cice Blossac and Rennes St Jacques further down into Rennes (about 50 miles from Dinard). The hotel selection features a range of hotels from the gentle charm of the 2 in Combourg to the more organised complex at Des Ormes.
