Loire Valley

The Loire valley is classically associated with chateaux and fine wines. Enough to make it a very popular destination with British travellers. Add half a dozen very fine golf courses and you have a fantastic destination for a perfect Golfing holiday in France. Golf here is very easy paced and relaxed and you will enjoy the freedom to play at your own pace on uncluttered courses. There are 2 principal centres for golf in the Loire valley. Orleans at the Northern end boasts the excellent courses at Limere, Les Aisses and Sologne to add to the incomparable Les Bordes. Further south based around Tours are Touraine, Ardree and Sept Tours make for an excellent golfing trip. In the major and smaller towns and out in the country there is a wide variety of Hotels at prices and styles to suit everyone.
