Emilia Romagna Emilia Romagna Golf Holidays. Emilia Romagna runs south east from the historical cities of Parma Modena and Bologna down to Cervia and Rimini on the coast. In addition to those well known names there are countless smaller towns which just exude the history and culture that is the trade mark of this area. Food is just fabulous as you would expect from the region that spawned Parma ham and Parmesan cheese. Golf is excellent - Bologna and Modena both boast high quality courses in very classy country&^ club environments. Cervia and Rimini on the eastern coast are well established layouts that will all repay a visit. The newer courses at le Fonti and Croara are very good tracks. The area lends itself to two types of golf trip - a shorter 2 or 3 night trip based either on Modena or Cervia or a centre holiday for a week on a 2 centre basis. In either case a great holiday is assured with the combination of history culture food and golf to delight in. |
