Golf Costa Brava

Delightful tree lined course just outside Platja d'Aro. Not overlong but very good condition and most enjoyable. You get a great feeling that you are playing by yourselves.

Platja De Pals

Beautiful golf course almost all lined with umbrella pines, it has good shape and its always immaculate condition makes this a great bet.

PGA Catalunya

2 full 18 holes now in operation and they are both wonderful. The original course (now called the Stadium course) is absolutely magnificent, wonderful use of the contours of the ground combined with some spectacular water holes and top quality greens make this one of the best tests of golf in Europe. The newer Tour course is also a great test. Not quite as long but built with the same sympathetic ingenuity to make a very good course indeed. .

Girona

Good parkland - the course is nestled down in a valley and has 2 nines on either side of the clubhouse. Trees are everywhere and on the back nine the holes herring bone down the valley from elevated tees making tight picturesque golf. Absolute pleasure.

Serres de Pals

Newer sister course to Platja de Pals this course is more open but the holes are well shaped with great use of the water features - good golf course. .

Emporda

36 hole set up - the old Forest course is a classic combination of fairways lined with umbrella pines and well protected greens. The newer links course is long and tough with lots of water and wind often in play- it was specifically built for the Tour School to test the young guns. Tough but classy.

Torremiona

Top class parkland set up - it's quite open but long well bunkered and with quality greens it'll test your length and accuracy. It's about 30 miles north of Girona and probably too far from Platja d'Aro to be worthwhile from there.

Peralada

Another high quality parkland course used for the European Tour Qualifying school last year. Super test of golf , fair but not easy with fantastic views to the Pyrenees. Thoroughly enjoyable.

Golf d'Aro (Mas Nou)

Spectacular position high up in the hills above Platja d'Aro - the views are just stunning and the golf very good requiring precise shotmaking.. Many of the holes have one side with a sheer drop away down the hill but this is great golf in a top setting - back 9 is pretty hilly - buggy might be a good call.
