Already excellent but steadily improving course on the outskirts of Jerez. Excellent conditioning, great bunkering with very good greens makes this a very good and enjoyable test –3 tremendous finishing holes.. |

Top class course – host of the Volvo Masters for several years and a worthy venue. The colures is quite hilly with big gaps between tees and greens so you should think about a buggy but the combination of elevated tees , protected greens and some excellent water hazards makes this a test to relish. Arcos Gardens |
Set on a prestigious residential development about 10 minutes from the town of Arcos, the golf complex was built to exacting standards and with the emphasis on quality – new clubhouse in 2009 completes the picture. Top class course that just exudes quality. |
Costa Ballena |
27 holes of very very good holiday golf. The course is set in holiday village of Costa Ballena and is essentially very flat and first view from a distance would make you think it is a bit dull but it isn’t. Huge palm trees, excellent water hazards and good greens combine to maker this most enjoyable. Not as tough as some but still very enjoyable. |
Montenmedio |
Super parkland set up about 40 minutes from El Puerto but ideally situated for the journey to and from Gibraltar. Lovely clubhouse set in a very high class complex with a course to match. First 2 or 3 holes are quite hilly but the course then settles down to become a fine parkland layout. Nothing spectacular or extravagant – just very good golf |

Complex of 3 courses about 40 minutes from Jerez and El Puerto. The 3 courses have tremendous variety amongst them with a mix of parkland, seaside and links golf with some excellent water features and great greens. Most enjoyable. |
| Villanueva |
The best of the new generation of courses in the area. Course is wide open without many trees but good shape, excellent bunkering and water features create a good challenge. Greens are well protected and you‘ll need your best approach game to score well. |
El Puerto |
Just outside the town and a good test with some great holes. The areas around the course look a bit tatty in places and the clubhouse isn’t spectacular but in the middle is a good golf course at a great price. The course changed hands in 2009 and great things are expected. |
Seville |
3rd or 4th ranked in Spain depending on which list you look at but a sublime parkland golf course. Olazabl design and while it is a good hours drive from Jerez it is well worth it. Superb condition at all times and a tough tough track to play to handicap. There’s not a weak hole on the course and in many instance there is a very clear risk reward situation where the well hit bold shot will save you a shot, but there is always a bale out area if you feel a bit more conservative. Brilliant course. |
